Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Pick up from your Hotel at 7.30 am drive to the view point of the Rift Valley for a stop over, descend the escarpment and drive via Narok town then to Masai Mara for lunch at the camp. After lunch proceed for afternoon game drive in Masai Mara game reserve famous for its black manned lion and yearly migrations of wildebeests from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya, dinner and overnight at the
MARA NTULELE CAMP

Day 2: Masaai Mara

After early morning breakfast, full day spent game viewing and exploring this spectacular park with picnic lunch served in the park at the Mara river border of Kenya and Tanzania, return to the MARA NTULELE CAMP for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masaai Mara – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast leave maasai mara as you drive to Nakuru with lunch enroute with an optional stop over at the Lake Naivasha for 1 hour boat ride to get upclose with the hippos and fish eagles, arriving in Nakuru late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight at BURAHA ZENONI HOTEL.

Day 4: Nakuru – Amboseli

After breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Lake Nakuru is known for it’s millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave lake Nakuru National Park to proceed to Amboseli National Park with lunch enroute for dinner and overnight at
MANJARO TENTED CAMP in Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli

After breakfast, get your picnic lunch boxes and head for full day game drives in Amboseli National Park until evening returning for diner and overnight at the
MANJARO TENTED CAMP.

Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi

After breakfast leave camp for the last game drive in the park from 6.30am to 8.30am as you leave the Amboseli park for Nairobi with Picnic lunch served enroute arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon by 2pm.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Your Mzanga Safaris guide will pick you up from Nairobi and begin the journey north through Kenya’s scenic highlands. Along the way, make a stop at the Equator for photographs and an interesting demonstration before continuing past the slopes of Mount Kenya to Samburu National Reserve.

Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of Samburu’s unique wildlife species, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, elephants, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Viewing in Samburu National Reserve

Spend the day exploring the rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is famous for its rare northern Kenya wildlife species and large elephant herds. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south towards Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, make a stop at the scenic Thomson’s Falls, one of Kenya’s most beautiful waterfalls. Continue to Lake Nakuru, arriving later in the day to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this famous Rift Valley park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli National Park

Begin the day with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is renowned for its rich birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans, as well as its thriving populations of black and white rhinos. Other wildlife commonly seen includes lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Later, depart for Amboseli National Park, traveling through the Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s scenic countryside.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, one of Africa’s best destinations for viewing large elephant herds. The park’s open plains and swamps attract a variety of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and numerous bird species.

You may also choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the customs, culture, and daily life of the Maasai people.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli National Park with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afterwards, begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your safari with Mzanga Safaris.
