This 5-day safari combines wildlife viewing in Murchison Falls National Park with adventure and exploration at the Source of the Nile in Jinja. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Kampala, where you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart Kampala and travel to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino-tracking experience. Continue through Masindi before entering the park and visiting the Top of the Falls, where the River Nile forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging dramatically below, creating one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.

Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

Enjoy a morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, buffaloes, lions, Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, and a variety of antelope species. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, offering excellent opportunities to spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife along the riverbanks while enjoying spectacular views of the falls.

Day 4: Transfer to Jinja

After exploring Murchison Falls National Park, travel east to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and home to the Source of the Nile, the point where the world’s longest river begins its journey northward through Africa. The drive offers scenic views of Uganda’s countryside and vibrant local communities.

Day 5: Source of the Nile Exploration, White-Water Rafting and Departure

Begin the day with a visit to the Source of the Nile and enjoy a boat excursion to learn about the history and significance of this iconic landmark. Later, experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the Nile, navigating exciting rapids suitable for both beginners and experienced adventurers. After the activities, return to Kampala or transfer directly to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
