Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Your Mzanga Safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and begin the journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The scenic drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley and the vibrant Maasai town of Narok.

Upon arrival in the reserve, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many other wildlife species. The vast plains of the Maasai Mara provide excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy extensive game drives across the reserve’s rolling grasslands and riverine forests while searching for the Big Five and other wildlife.

Depending on the season, you may witness the famous Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River. The reserve is also home to hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, jackals, and a variety of bird species, making it one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a final wildlife viewing opportunity before departing Maasai Mara and returning to Nairobi. Along the way, take in the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and reflect on the incredible safari experiences. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari with Mzanga Safaris.
